Job summary

Glendive Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Long-Term Care team in Glendive, Montana. You will provide direct patient care, support resident health, and coordinate with nurses and providers to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires Montana LPN license (or compact) and BLS certification, full-time schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, and weekend/holiday rotation. Starting wage is $26.14 per hour plus applicable differentials.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Perform nursing procedures within scope of practice (wound care, catheter care, tube feedings).
• Assess resident needs and contribute to care planning and evaluations.
• Document care and clinical observations accurately and timely.
• Respond to resident requests and provide compassionate support.

Glendive Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Long-Term Care team. In this role, you'll provide direct nursing care, support resident health and well-being, and work closely with providers, residents, families, and fellow caregivers to deliver high-quality care.

About the Role

As an LPN at GMC, you will provide direct patient care and assist in coordinating treatment plans under the direction of Registered Nurses and healthcare providers.

What You'll Do

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and care plans
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare team members
• Perform nursing procedures, including wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and other treatments within scope of practice
• Assess resident needs and contribute to care planning and ongoing evaluations
• Document resident care and clinical observations accurately and timely
• Respond to resident requests and provide compassionate support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care
• Supervise and provide guidance to CNAs and other direct care staff
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and safety regulations
