Job summary

Kettering Health Dayton is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts. You will provide direct, compassionate nursing care under supervision of an RN or physician, support patient safety, comfort, and recovery, and assist with medication administration, monitoring, and documentation.

Graduate of an accredited LPN program with an Ohio license is required. BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days. Preferred IV therapy certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, compassionate nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, supporting patient safety, comfort, and recovery. This role assists with medication administration, monitoring, and documentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and infection control protocols. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.

Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio.
