Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Physician Office in Troy, OH. This full-time, first-shift position supports patient care under supervision, including medication administration, monitoring, and detailed documentation.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited LPN program with a current Ohio license and BLS certification (or the ability to obtain within 30 days). Experience in acute care or clinical settings is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, compassionate nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, supporting patient safety, comfort, and recovery. This role assists with medication administration, monitoring, and documentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and infection control protocols. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.None required beyond completion of an accredited LPN program.Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in an acute care or clinical setting. IV therapy certification.
