Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads. You will provide nursing care, administer medications, and document patient information while coordinating with the care team.

We offer Same-Day/Next-Day Pay with RapidPay Card, a hiring bonus after 2 shifts, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling. Local applicants only. Equal Opportunity Employer. Local Staffing Coordinators are available 5 AM–11:30 PM to support you.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
