Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads, VA. The position offers pay of $37-$39 per hour with same-day or next-day pay options.

Per diem scheduling provides flexible hours, with local staffing coordinators available to support shifts. Active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility experience, and current BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• PPD within the last year
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. No weight restrictions

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
