Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team in Hampton Roads, VA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care under the LPN scope, with competitive hourly pay and flexible scheduling.

Per diem positions offer same-day or next-day pay, weekly payroll, and opportunities for a bonus after completion of shifts. Local staffing coordinators are available to support you from 5 AM to 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
