Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Per Diem team serving Hampton Roads facilities. You will provide nursing care within the LPN scope, administer medications and treatments, and document patient information accurately.

We offer per diem schedules with flexible shifts, same-day or next-day pay options, a hiring bonus after two shifts, and weekly payroll. Local applicants only; EOE.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within the last year.
• No weight restrictions; ability to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
