Job summary

United Church of Christ Homes is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards.

You will participate in QA, develop care plans, administer medications, complete documentation, and communicate resident needs to the care team. This role requires PA licensure and a strong commitment to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered Pennsylvania LPN license.
• Ability/willingness to learn basic computer skills.
• Ability to summarize and relate information concerning a resident's condition.
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
• Must cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Participate in quality assessment and assurance programs.
• Report problems, discrepancies, and concerns.
• Complete accidents and incident reports and related charting.
• Administer medications and treatments; follow physician orders.
• Communicate the mission, ethics, and goals of UCC Homes.
• Ensure Residents' Rights are protected and uphold privacy standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing resident care plans and discharge plans.
