Job summary

Heartline Staffing is recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a 26-week healthcare assignment in South Mountain, Pennsylvania. Three openings are currently available on day shift. The shift runs 6:45 AM–3:15 PM with a 5x8 schedule and 40 guaranteed hours per week.

LPNs will provide direct nursing care, monitor patients, administer medications, document accurately, and communicate with the healthcare team. This contract is in a Long-Term Care setting with other support staff available.

Qualifications

• Current, active Pennsylvania LPN license required.
• Nursing experience appropriate to the assignment.
• Ability to provide direct patient care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Must be able to work the 6:45 AM–3:15 PM day shift.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.
• Must meet all Commonwealth and facility requirements prior to placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Monitor patients and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as permitted within scope.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, nursing staff and other team members.
• Follow safety, infection prevention and facility procedures.
