Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Harrodsburg, KY is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for a pediatric patient at home or school. The role uses the nursing process to provide skilled care per orders in a home setting.

Applicants must hold an active LPN/LVN license in the state, have current TB or chest X-ray, and a current BLS card. One year of nursing experience is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Job description

Hourly Pay: $28/hr - $35/hr
