Job summary

Wilson's Creek Nursing & Rehab on the Westside of Springfield, MO, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Graduate nurses and newly licensed nurses are encouraged to apply.

We offer 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) with every other weekend required, plus shift differential for weekend and overnight shifts. New hire bonuses are available to qualifying candidates, and we provide health, dental, and vision insurance, life, disability, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• LPN licensure required or in state reciprocity
• Graduate nurses or newly licensed nurses encouraged to apply
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and weekends as required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients as assigned
• Administer and record medications and treatments
• Reinforce health care instructions to patients and families
• Collaborate with team to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
• Observe and report patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition
• Record patient observations in charts
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients
