Job summary

Wilson's Creek Nursing & Rehab on the Westside of Springfield, MO, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Graduate nurses and newly licensed nurses are encouraged to apply.

We offer 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) with every other weekend required, plus shift differential for weekend and overnight shifts. New hire bonuses are available to qualifying candidates, and we provide health, dental, and vision insurance, life, disability, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• LPN licensure required or in state reciprocity

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients as assigned
• Administer and record medications and treatments

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned
• Reinforce supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families
• Participates with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individual(s)
• Records on patient charts observation of patient’s responses to nursing care rendered
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients
• Assists with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications and Skills:

• LPN Licensure: 1 year (Preferred)
