Job summary

Colby Health and Rehab in Colby, KS, is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. You will provide total care for residents, follow physician orders, monitor conditions, and supervise nursing assistants to ensure plans are followed.

The role features 12-hour shifts from 5 am to 5 pm, weekend rotation, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus with comprehensive benefits. Prior geriatric or rehab experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes.
• Oversee nursing assistants to ensure care plans are followed.
• Complete documentation and admit/discharge residents.
• Report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and facility policies.
