Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Pilger, Nebraska seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for a pediatric patient in the home setting. This is a full-time overnight role with competitive hourly pay.

You will perform nursing assessments, deliver prescribed care, monitor changes, and document findings. Requires active LPN/LVN license in the state, BLS, TB or chest X-ray, and about one year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice (Nebraska).
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and potential nursing diagnoses.
