LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Clermont, FL, to provide nursing care in a behavioral health setting. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and support care plans within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate holds an FL LPN license with at least one year of nursing experience, preferably in mental health, and is committed to patient education and safety in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting Florida LPN standards.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience, preferably in mental health.
• Strong nursing care procedures and behavioral health protocols.

Responsibilities

Job Location: South Lake Residential - Clermont, FL 34711, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $27.00, Job Shift: Day, Job Purpose: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Lifestream Behavioral Center is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients within a behavioral health setting. The role involves working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and compassionate care, while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with nursing standards.
• Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain current nursing practices and standards.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to nursing practice.

Qualifications

Required Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting minimum standards of the Florida State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Required Experience

Minimum of one (1) year experience in nursing, preferably in a mental health setting.
