Job summary

Asbury Normandie Ridge in York, PA is seeking a Full-Time Evening Shift Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality resident care, administer medications, and collaborate with the care plan team. The role offers a supportive culture, daily pay options, and growth opportunities within a continuing care retirement community.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical/Surgical, Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active PA LPN license.
• Compassion, patience, and genuine desire to care for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Document interdisciplinary progress notes reflecting resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; maintain narcotic records.
• Report discrepancies to the nurse manager and follow disposal procedures.
• Collaborate with care plan team to address residents' physical, social, nutritional, spiritual, and activity needs.

Job Description

• Document interdisciplinary progress notes that provide a comprehensive reflection of resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date drug and narcotic records for each shift.
• Report any discrepancies to the nurse manager and follow proper procedures for drug and narcotic disposal.
• Collaborate with the care plan team to assess and address residents' physical, social, nutritional, spiritual, and activity-related needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical/Surgical, Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Nursing
• Active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
• Current CPR certification
