The LPN provides nursing care according to standards, with supervision from RNs, and participates in building a strong healthcare program from the start.

What You'll Do

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for rendering nursing care in assigned area in terms of individualized client needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions and conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards based on the scope of practical nursing, under the direction/delegation of the registered nurse.

Qualifications

Correctional healthcare experience is not required. Nurses with experience in hospitals, emergency care, long-term care, home health, clinics, behavioral health, and other healthcare settings are encouraged to apply.
