Job summary

St. Catherine of Siena Nursing and Rehabilitation and St. Catherine of Siena Hospital are part of Catholic Health Services in Smithtown, Long Island. The facilities include a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation center and a 296-bed community hospital serving the Smithtown area for over 50 years.

We are seeking an LPN to perform safe medication administration, maintain aseptic technique, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team. EPIC proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited LPN program and current NYS LPN license required.
• BCLS training and current certification required from: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Proficiency with care tasks such as safe medication administration, aseptic technique, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills to enhance age-specific patient care, team collaboration and analytical problem solving.
• A detail-orientation with multiple tasks and follow-through of tasks to completion.
• Advanced proficiency using EPIC is a plus.

Salary Range

USD $37.65 - USD $41.23 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
