Job summary

Otterbein Tipp City is seeking skilled LPNs/LVNs to join our resident-centered care team. You will direct patient care, coordinate with physicians, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support residents and their families.

We offer a supportive, compassionate environment with opportunities for professional growth. Shift options include full-time night and part-time days/nights across our Ohio communities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid state licensure as an LPN/LVN.
• Current CPR certification.
• CEU’s as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents by physical examination and pertinent diagnostic testing to determine health status.
• Administers medications and treatments.
• Supervises LPNs and certified nursing assistants.
• Communicates with physicians regarding changes in residents’ conditions and test results.
• Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.
• Educates residents and families on health-related issues.
• Completes required forms and documents per policy and regulations.
• Provide compassionate care that respects elder autonomy and dignity.

Shift: Full‑time Night Shift and Part‑time Days & Nights

Responsibilities

• Communicating a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for elders
• Recognizing the autonomy and dignity of all elders
• Understanding how to place decision‑making in the hands of the elders
• Focusing on providing high‑quality service and care
