Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Full-Time LVN/LPN for the Night shift in the Acute Rehab unit. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver direct and indirect patient care, ensuring safety and comfort while contributing to a positive patient experience.

Requirements include an LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications within 90 days, and current BLS. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse license.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certification at hire and ongoing.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort and support overall patient experience in rehab setting.

Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the MST setting.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• 3. IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• 4. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• 5. Work experience in health care preferred.
