Job summary

Okeechobee SNF Operations, LLC is seeking qualified LPNs for full-time and PRN positions on day and night 12-hour shifts in Okeechobee, FL. A signing bonus of $7,500 is offered, paid incrementally at $1,875 every 90 days, for full-time staff.

Responsibilities include patient care on the assigned unit, medication administration, and collaboration with care teams. Florida license or compact license required; background check and drug screen are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN license or Compact license.
• Clear Level II background check.
• Must pass a drug screen and be medically cleared.
• Experience with resident care and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall care for residents on assigned unit.
• Walk rounds with off-going nurse to receive updates on each resident.
• Receive, transcribe, and initiate orders from physicians.
• Administer medications and complete treatment orders as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure all medications are ordered through the Pharmacy in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the MDS/Care Plan Team to develop and maintain up-to-date plan of care for residents.
• Complete required documentation in the resident's chart.
• Contact Physician and family for any change of condition with resident.
• Walk rounds with physicians when they are in the building.
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants on the unit.
• Ensure tasks are complete prior to the end of shift.
• Walk rounds with oncoming nurse to give update on resident status.

FULL TIME AND PRN POSITIONS AVAILABLE- DAY AND NIGHT SHIFT/12h

$30-$34/hr. depending on experience
