Job summary

Hollis Park Manor Nursing Home in Queens is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. We offer both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation in a 80-bed facility, with opportunities for professional development and training.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, you will provide bedside care, administer medications, monitor vitals, and support residents' comfort and safety. NY LPN license required; differential shifts available (full-time or part-time).

Qualifications

• Must possess a degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered NY LPN license.
• Long-term care experience preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to residents.
• Administer medications and document effects.
• Take vital signs regularly (temp, BP, pulse, respiration).
• Assist with resident comfort and safety.
• Prepare and administer injections and enemas as needed.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
• Assist with coaching and training of staff when needed.

Hollis Park Manor Nursing Home, is an 80 bed Skilled Nursing Facility, loacted in the heart of Queens is looking to hire Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Dynamic team! We offer both, Long-Term Care and also Short-Term-Rehabilitation. Our facility is located in the Hollis neighborhood and is accessible by several MTA bus-lines literally mere steps from the entrance. We are looking to hire passionate and dedicated LPN's. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the utmost quality care and safety is delivered to all residents on consistent basis. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional. Although we prefer candidate to have Nursing Home experience, we are willing to train as well. Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care.

• Previous long-term care experience is desirable.
• Computer knowledge required with EMR background, preferablyMatrix.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York.
