Job summary

Goldwater Care Marseilles in Marseilles, Illinois is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our resident-centered team. You will provide direct nursing care, supervise aides, and help maintain high-quality care across shifts.

The role requires current LPN license, CPR certification, and 12-hour shifts. Prior long-term care experience is preferred. We offer medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k) after six months.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon admission, transfer, and/or discharge
• Receive and transcribe telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physician’s Order Form
• Chart nurse’s notes in an informative and descriptive manner
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift
