Job summary

Goldwater Care Marseilles, IL is seeking an LPN to provide direct nursing care, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure high-quality care for residents.You will chart notes, transcribe physician orders, administer medications, and lead nursing staff on your unit during 12-hour shifts. CPR certification and an active LPN license are required.This full-time position offers medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k) plan after six months of service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon admission, transfer, and/or discharge
• Receive and transcribe telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physician’s Order Form
• Chart nurse’s notes in an informative and descriptive manner
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift
