Job summary

Mission Health Cntr Sugar Hill in Marion, NC seeks an LPN/LVN to provide focused nursing care in a high-acuity setting. You will participate in medication administration, patient monitoring, and collaborative care with RNs and physicians to support recovery.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient interaction, precise documentation, and ongoing education to patients and families about conditions and care steps.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• LPN/LVN - Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse.
• Vocational School Graduate.

Responsibilities

• Providing focused nursing care for patients with complex needs by administering medications, managing lines or drains, and assisting with interventions like cardiac monitoring or respiratory support.
• Closely observing patients for changes in status and escalating concerns quickly to support early intervention.
• Documenting timely, accurate updates to help the care team coordinate effectively in a high-acuity environment.
• Helping patients and families understand complex conditions and recovery steps with clarity and comfort.
• Working closely with RNs, providers, and specialists to stabilize patients and guide them through the transition from intensive care toward recovery.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Helping patients and families understand complex conditions and recovery steps with clarity and comfort
• Working closely with RNs, providers, and specialists to stabilize patients and guide them through the transition from intensive care toward recovery
