Job summary

Extended Care, LLC in Lemont, Illinois is seeking dedicated LPNs to provide compassionate care to residents. LPNs will direct nursing assistants and perform essential nursing tasks in a supportive environment. • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician.

LPN Requirements:

• Valid Nursing License as required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with the state’s Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.

• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
• Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.

As A Skilled, Compassionate LPN, You Will:

• Direct the day‑to‑day activities of the nursing assistants.
• Complete required record‑keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
• Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
