Job summary

Langdon Place of Exeter seeks an LPN to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing staff on a day shift. You will coordinate daily nursing tasks, monitor resident status, administer medications, and ensure safe, compassionate care for residents.

You will collaborate with families and the care team, participate in care planning, and help maintain regulatory compliance and survey readiness across shifts, including occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current unrestricted LPN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to organize priorities and remain composed in a changing healthcare environment.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise assigned nursing assistants and support staff.
• Monitor resident status and promptly communicate significant changes.
• Administer medications and monitor residents for adverse reactions.
• Perform wound care, treatments, and nursing procedures within scope of practice.
• Accurately carry out and document physician orders.
• Participate in admissions, discharges, transfers, rounds, and care planning.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and transportation needs.
• Collaborate with residents, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Support end-of-life care when needed.
• Promote teamwork, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness.

Weekends

Compensation: $31 - $40.50, based on experience + applicable shift differentials and full-time modified compensation options

About the Role

We're looking for an LPN who combines strong clinical skills with compassion, communication, and teamwork. You'll provide direct nursing care while helping coordinate the day-to-day work of nursing assistants and other assigned team members.
