Nancy Hart Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our full-time night shift (7pm–7am). Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Ability to perform medication administration as prescribed.
• Experience with vital signs, wound care, injections and immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes.
• Provide basic wound care and dressing changes.
• Administer injections and immunizations as needed.
• Document patient information accurately in the computer system.
• Take medical histories and assist with admissions.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities include:

• Giving medication as prescribed by a physician
• Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight
• Basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas
• Giving injections of medication
• Immunizations
• Taking medical histories
• Entering information into computer system
