Job summary

Mountain Laurel Healthcare is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for immediate full-time, part-time, and per diem roles in Pennsylvania. Benefits include PTO/holiday pay, competitive pay based on experience, and medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• LPN license is required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist CNAs in performing ADL and routine care.
• Administer medications per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Submit pharmacy orders.
• Document and record information accurately.
• Give injections of medication as prescribed.
• Observe resident health and communicate conditions to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians.
• Take vital signs (BP, temp, weight).
• Provide basic care including wound cleaning and bandaging.
• Manage IVs and start IV drips.
• Monitor fluid/food intake and output.
• Observe and report accidents and skin breakdowns.
• Assist in admissions process.

Job responsibilities for LPNs include and are not limited to:

Assisting CNAs in performing ADL and routine care.

• Conducting resident/patient treatments.

• Administering medication in accordance with physician orders and Plan of Care.

• Submitting pharmacy orders.

• Accurately documenting and recording all information.

• Giving injections of medication as prescribed.

• Observing resident health to communicate current condition to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians.

• Taking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and weight.

• Basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging.

• Managing IVs, starting IV drips.

• Monitoring fluid/food intake and output.

• Observing and reporting resident accidents, incidents and the presence of skin breakdowns.

• Assisting as directed in the admissions process.
