Job summary

Phaxis in Cary, NC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a pediatric and adolescent medicine practice. This full-time role supports newborns through age 21 with vaccinations, examinations, and family education.

Work schedule is a four-day week from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Pay ranges from $22 to $28 per hour, with weekend differential for occasional shifts and a supportive onboarding process to help you grow in pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric clinical experience.
• Experience with vaccines, injections, and phlebotomy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Allscripts/Veradigm EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccines, injections, and medications per protocol.
• Perform blood draws and routine lab tests.
• Assist with pediatric wellness and sick visits.
• Conduct vision, hearing, and developmental screenings.
• Support physicians with examinations and procedures.

What You'll Do

• Administer vaccinations, injections, and medications per protocol

What We’re Looking For

• Active LPN license
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Pediatrics, primary care, family medicine, or urgent care experience preferred
• Strong vaccination, injection, and phlebotomy skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• EHR experience;Allscripts/Veradigm a plus
