Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our clinical team in Indiana. You will provide direct patient care, monitor vitals, and administer medications while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

You will document care in the EHR system and work with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and behavioral health goals in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Valid RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
• Experience: Behavioral health, detox, or substance abuse treatment preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care: administer medications, monitor vitals, and perform assessments.
• De-escalation and crisis management to maintain a safe environment.

In this role, you will be on the front lines of patient care, ensuring medical safety while fostering a therapeutic environment built on trust and professional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide medical assessments tailored to patients in various stages of recovery and withdrawal.
• De-escalation & Crisis Management: Utilize strong verbal de-escalation skills to manage challenging behaviors and maintain a calm, safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain consistent, accurate, and timely electronic health records (EHR). Your documentation will be the backbone of our clinical compliance and patient progress tracking.
• Professional Boundaries: Maintain a high standard of professional ethics, ensuring clear boundaries are established and upheld within the therapeutic relationship.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including counselors, medical directors, and case managers, to provide holistic care.
