Job summary

VALIDATION ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver safe, compassionate care across hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers and assisted living communities in Bloomfield, New Mexico.

You must graduate from an accredited LPN program, hold an active NM license, have at least 6 months of LPN experience, and be CPR certified; duties include admissions, vitals, meds, wound care, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Active LPN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months of LPN work experience.
• Push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds.
• CPR certification and baseline health requirements.
• Annual physical and negative TB test where required.
• Clean background check and COVID-19 vaccination where required.

Responsibilities

• Admitting, discharging, and transferring patients.
• Taking and reporting patient vital signs.
• Administering medications as ordered and reporting adverse reactions.
• Dressing patient wounds and collecting blood and urine samples.
• Communicating effectively with patients and family members.
• Providing timely documentation that’s accurate and organized.
• Restocking supplies, medications, and equipment.
• Collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements

Licensed practical nurses are expected to deliver safe, competent, and compassionate care to diverse patient populations in settings such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and assisted living communities.

Basic Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Active LPN license from the state in which you plan to work
• Minimum 6 months of LPN work experience

• Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking
• CPR certification
• Annual physical (where required)
