Job summary

Calor is recruiting a Terminal Jetty Operator for its Canvey Island Terminal. You will safely operate LPG handling, monitor plant equipment, and support marine import/export activities while maintaining safety compliance and incident readiness.

The role involves routine maintenance, logging, and collaboration with the shift team to meet production requirements and safety targets in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with process plant operations and safety systems.
• Ability to respond to environmental hazards and incidents promptly.
• Familiarity with COMAH site requirements and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate marine jetty and LPG process plant in a safe, controlled manner.
• Record plant operations and assist handover with clear briefings.
• Support emergency response and contribute to contingency plans.
• Coordinate with Shift Lead to ensure maintenance and compliance.
