Job summary

New Vision Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our clinical leadership team. The LPCC/LPCC-S will provide direct outpatient therapy and supervise counselors and interns in a trauma-informed environment serving children, adolescents, and adults.

The role includes maintaining high clinical standards, mentoring staff toward licensure, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Hybrid work options and a focus on quality care are offered.

Qualifications

  • Active license in good standing with the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board.
  • Minimum 4 years of post-independent licensure clinical experience.
  • Prior experience providing clinical supervision strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Proficient with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally competent, and client-centered care.

Position Overview

New Vision Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced out patient clinician to join our clinical leadership team. This role combines direct therapeutic services with clinical supervision of counselors and interns. The LPCC or LPCC-S will play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards while mentoring developing clinicians in a collaborative, trauma-informed environment serving children, adolescents, and adults.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Supervision & Team Development
  • Support with case conceptualization, treatment planning, ethical decision-making, and clinical skill development.
  • Maintain accurate supervision records in compliance with Ohio CSWMFT Board requirements.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and mentor staff toward successful licensure and professional growth.
Direct Clinical Services
  • Deliver high-quality outpatient mental health services including individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Treat a wide range of mental health concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and relational issues using evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.).
  • Maintain a balanced caseload while delivering strong clinical outcomes.
Documentation, Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes) in accordance with agency, state, and insurance requirements.
  • Uphold ethical standards, HIPAA compliance, and all applicable regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer consultation.
Collaboration & Program Support
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical programs, group curriculum, and community outreach efforts.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and agency-wide initiatives.
Crisis Management

Provide clinical guidance and support to staff during crisis situations, including risk assessment and safety planning.
