Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a propane service technician responsible for the installation, setting, and servicing of propane tanks.

The role includes delivering fuel, performing line and valve repairs, and ensuring safe operation of equipment and vehicles, with emphasis on safety and customer service. The candidate must hold a Class A CDL, HazMat endorsement (or be able to obtain quickly), and possess mechanical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• HazMat endorsement or ability to obtain quickly upon hire.
• Mechanical knowledge required.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willing to work extended hours and possible weekends during peak seasons.
• Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including satisfactory MVR.

Responsibilities

• Install and set propane tanks and remove tanks.
• Conduct field repairs of tank valves, seals, and lines.
• Analyze and troubleshoot leaks and repair equipment.
• Deliver fuel as required.
• Operate equipment and vehicle safely.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain communication with supervisor and customer.
• Complete necessary paperwork and records.
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of equipment, building, and grounds.

Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The purpose of this position is to be the main point of contact for propane tank maintenance; this includes delivering, setting, installing, and servicing propane tanks.
