Job summary

Townsend Energy in Danvers, MA is seeking a detail-oriented LP Service and Delivery Technician. You will service propane HVAC equipment, deliver fuel to customer locations, and ensure safety and DOT compliance, using company tablets for daily records.

Hours are 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, FSA/HSA options, 401(k), vacation, and holidays. CDL-B and propane endorsements are required or pursued, with relocation assistance for qualified

Qualifications

• Previous experience in propane service and/or HVAC work.
• Valid propane license.
• At least one year of propane delivery experience.
• Valid CDL Class B minimum (Class A preferred).
• Tanker, Hazmat, and Air Brake endorsements.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Familiarity with GPS systems, navigation apps, and route planning tools.
• Experience entering and managing data on tablets or mobile devices.
• Ability to maintain delivery records, logs, and documentation.
• Clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, troubleshooting, and maintenance on residential propane HVAC equipment.
• Work on propane and electric heating and cooling systems, including heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, furnaces, and boilers.
• Load and unload fuel delivery trucks as needed.
• Deliver fuel safely and accurately to customer locations.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and maintain scheduled delivery times.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Utilize a company-issued tablet for daily operations and recordkeeping.

LP Service and Delivery Technician

Pay:

$32.00 to $45.00 + per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours:

7:30am to 4:00pm | Monday through Friday

What You Will Be Doing
