Liquid Propane (LP) Delivery Associate

ALCIVIA is seeking a dedicated and responsible Liquid Propane (LP) Delivery Associate to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential services to our cooperative members by ensuring safe, reliable, and timely propane deliveries. Key Responsibilities

• Retrieve daily local routes and driver tickets via onboard computer systems to plan and execute deliveries efficiently.
• Operate a Bobtail and/or cylinder truck safely on local routes to deliver liquid propane (LP) to residential, commercial, and agricultural customer tanks.
• Ensure accurate and complete delivery documentation, including member signatures and delivery tickets.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of delivery vehicles, conducting routine inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Foster strong relationships with members by providing courteous, professional service and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Prioritize safety at all times by adhering to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies.
• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries as required, ensuring continuous service availability.
• Follow all environmental and safety regulations related to the handling and transportation of propane.

Skills And Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating a Bobtail truck.
• Proven experience in delivery driving, preferably in propane, fuel, or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to the handling and transportation of hazardous materials.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate onboard computer systems and read delivery tickets accurately.
• Good physical condition, capable of lifting and handling propane tanks and related equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications related to hazardous materials handling is a plus.

Full-time benefit eligibility begins the 1st of the month following date of hire.
