Job summary

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel is seeking a dedicated Guest Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and comfort for guests. Responsibilities include deep cleaning, carpet care, hallway vacuuming, and stocking linen closets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSDeep clean, shampoo carpets and rotate mattresses.Vacuum hallways.Maintain vending areas.Stock linen closets with linens and supplies.Remove trash at the end of the day.Perform preventative maintenance on a daily basis.Assist Guest Room and Laundry Attendants as needed.Provide guests with requested information and services (i.e. casino information and directions).Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSAt least 3 months experience as a Guest Room Attendant.High School Diploma or GED preferred.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTESGood customer service skills.Able to follow all safety rules and regulations.Able to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a courteous and professional manner.High standard of cleanliness.UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTSSensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.Regular attendance and punctuality.Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.PHYSICAL DEMANDSMobility throughout the facility.Able to lift up to 40 pounds.Able to bend, twist and kneel continuously.While the physical demands described here are typical of those required to be successful in this position, reasonable accommodations will be considered to enable individuals with disabilities to perform applicable job duties.
