Job summary

Summerfield Waldorf School & Farm in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a full-time, exempt Lower School Coordinator (40 hours/week) to oversee the daily and long-term functioning of the Lower School. You will report to the Director and work with the Lower School Core Group to align operations with Waldorf principles.

The role includes managing supply budgets, building class schedules, tracking absences, coordinating substitutes, and supporting faculty development.

Qualifications

• Background in Waldorf pedagogy preferred.
• Experience in administration and budget tracking.
• Ability to coordinate class schedules and substitute coverage.
• Strong communication and leadership with capacity to liaise with faculty and parents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily and long-term functioning of the Lower School.
• Assist with weekly section and governance meetings.
