Wilmington Friends School seeks an experienced, compassionate, and collaborative Lower School Nurse to support the health and well-being of our students and school community. The School Nurse provides direct nursing care, responds to illness and injury, manages student health needs and records, and partners closely with families, faculty, staff, administrators, and health care providers.
Academic Year: Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m., including required in-service and professional development days, with occasional additional hours for meetings or student needs.
Summer: Approximately 5-10 hours per week, on-site and/or virtual, primarily to process health forms, maintain records, communicate with families, and support summer programs and preparations for the upcoming school year.
