Second Baptist School in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Lower School Instructional Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. The aide will support the classroom teacher in small group and individualized instruction, planning, preparation of materials, and class supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with group instruction, monitoring student work, preparing materials, supporting accommodations, and serving as a classroom substitute when needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in early childhood education.
• Strong Christian testimony and calling to serve as a positive role model.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Willingness to lead and support school-wide initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Record of classroom experience.
• Willingness to support various school needs as they arise.
• Proficiency in technology and knowledge of Google Workspace.

Responsabilidades

• Assist students during teacher-directed whole group, small group, and individualized instruction.
• Monitor and support students during independent work and collaborative learning.
• Provide follow-up and review after instruction.
• Prepare educational materials and perform clerical tasks.
• Assist with accommodations documented in student plans.
• Help monitor student behavior and provide positive reinforcement.
• Serve as classroom substitute when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Demonstrate dependability and integrity.
• Promote and support school-wide initiatives and activities.
