Job summary

Rocky Mountain Prep in Colorado seeks Elementary Teachers for Lower Elementary (Kindergarten–2nd grade). This 100% in-person, school-based role works on-site with students, families, and staff to build a strong school community and support student growth.

You will deliver rigorous, joyful instruction, foster inclusive classrooms, and collaborate with grade-level teams while upholding RMP’s PEAK values and commitments to equity and student achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (any subject) required.
• Subject matter expertise in the taught content.
• Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
• Within the first year of employment, complete CDE READ Act training or CDE CLD-45 contact hours.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspire a love of learning with differentiated lessons to meet scholars’ needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
• Partner with families to support students’ education.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, special educators, interventionists, and specialists.
• Be a scholar of the Common Core Standards and use data to guide instruction.
• Deliver science-based reading instruction and rigorous, joyful instruction.
