Job summary

The ComTran Group is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to join a dynamic crew delivering Cat6 and fiber installations, PLC wiring, and infrastructure tasks. You will collaborate with a small team, interpret drawings and instructions from foremen, and work outdoors in varied conditions.

• 0-5 years of industry experience.

• Install and terminate Cat6 and fiber cabling; assist with OCR structures and infrastructure installation.
• Interpret instructions and drawings provided by foremen/supervisors.
• Work as part of a crew of 2 or more people.
• Uphold all safety guidelines on site.

What You'll Do

Be part of a team to assist with the installation of multiple different low-voltage systems including: Cat6/Fiber cabling installations and terminations, PLC placement and basic signal wiring, OCR structures and infrastructure installation, Cameras, Remote Kiosks, and Traffic Signal Loops.

What You'll Bring

• Knowledge in fiber splicing and Cat6 terminations are a plus.
• Ability to be a team player on a crew with 2 or more people.
• Ability to interpret instruction and drawings as given by Forman/Supervisors.
• Good positive attitude.
• Must be able to work in various conditions outdoors including hot, cold, wet, and dry environments.
