Job summary

Lighthouse Integrated Solutions is seeking reliable, motivated individuals to assist with local low-voltage service calls, installations, and project rollouts on a 1099 hourly basis in the Nashville area.

You'll support experienced technicians by performing cable pulls, device installations, and rack/work mounting, with travel up to 100 miles and travel pay included. The role is part-time to full-time based on availability and requires basic tools and dependable transport.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally as needed.
• Smartphone for communication and updates.
• Laptop preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow directions and work with lead technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with cable pulls and device installations.
• Support POS and phone system installs.
• Help with rack build-outs and equipment mounting.
• Assist with site surveys and troubleshooting.
• Maintain organized work areas and proper documentation.
• Perform general technical support tasks as assigned.

Position Details

• Long-term opportunity with ongoing work.
• Pay based on experience: $18-$25 per hour.
• Part-time to full-time based on availability.
• Local Paid travel required.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Smartphone for communication and job updates.
• Basic hand tools (drill, screwdrivers, punch-down tool, etc.).
• Ability to follow directions and work alongside lead technicians.
• Laptop preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Basic familiarity with Cat5e/Cat6 cabling.
• POS systems.
• Telephone or VoIP systems.
• Wi-Fi installations.
• Network racks and equipment.
• CCTV systems.
• Fiber experience is a plus.
• Access control, security, or fire alarm exposure is a plus.
