Job summary

JSET Automated Technologies in the Greater DC area is hiring experienced Low Voltage Electricians/Technicians to support large-scale data center projects. The role focuses on clean conduit work, organized cable routing, and building to exact specifications.

You’ll install conduit, pull and terminate CAT5/6 and fiber, read drawings, perform basic testing, and assist with commissioning. The position offers full-time hours, ongoing training, and potential for leadership as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in low-voltage or commercial electrical work.
• Experience with conduit installation, routing, and terminations.
• Ability to read prints and schematics to build to spec.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift up to 50–60 lbs and work at heights.
• OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Install conduit, raceways, and enclosures; route cabling through trays and pathways
• Pull, label, and terminate CAT5/6, fiber, and control/communication wiring
• Read and work from drawings and schematics to build to specification
• Perform basic testing and support commissioning and troubleshooting efforts
• Operate lifts and work overhead as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and code-compliant installations
• Follow all safety requirements and jobsite protocols

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, or commercial electrical work
• Experience with conduit installation, cable routing, and terminations
• Ability to read prints, schematics, and installation details
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working at heights and in active construction environments
• Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs as required by the job
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have OSHA 10 or willingness to complete on own time

Nice to Have (Not Required):
