Low Voltage Technician job at Actalent. Wauwatosa, WI. Job Title: Low Voltage Technician. Location: Milwaukee, WI. Employment Type: Full‑Time. Pay Range: $20‑30/hour (based on experience). Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Position Summary

Join a growing team specializing in the installation and support of low voltage systems for commercial clients. This hands‑on role involves working with CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and other security and communication systems in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low voltage systems: structured cabling, fiber optics, security systems, and A/V systems
• Pull, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, coax, fiber)
• Mount and configure security devices such as cameras and access control panels
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues
• Operate lifts and heavy equipment safely (lift certification required or obtainable)
• Ensure compliance with NEC, BICSI, and OSHA safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs

Qualifications

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauwatosa, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
