Job summary

ADT is seeking a Field Operations installer to deliver, install, test and configure advanced low-voltage security systems in customer homes and businesses. You will work hands-on, ensuring systems are installed correctly and maintained for reliability, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include site assessments, testing connections, troubleshooting issues, and educating customers on features. A valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
  • Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Install low‑voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
  • Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.
  • Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.

What you will do

You’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through the installation and support of advanced low‑voltage systems (under 50V). You’ll work hands‑on in customer homes, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and configured for optimal performance and reliability. You’ll be at the forefront of building customer trust through quality workmanship, technical expertise, and clear communication. You will:

  • Install low‑voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans
  • Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality

Compensation: The pay range for this role is $24.20–$44.94 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
