Job summary

ADT is hiring for a Field Operations role in Tampa, FL. You will install low‑voltage wiring, test systems, and ensure reliable configuration while educating customers on features and basic troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. You must be comfortable working evenings and weekends in customer homes, with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (additional licensing may be required by location).
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer‑first communication style.

• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections, including monitoring center communication.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.

What you will do

You’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through the installation and support of advanced low‑voltage systems (under 50V). You’ll work hands‑on in customer homes, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and configured for optimal performance and reliability. You’ll be at the forefront of building customer trust through quality workmanship, technical expertise, and clear communication. You will:
