We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, with a focus on CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and Sprinkler System Integration. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, and maintain low voltage systems including:
    • CCTV surveillance cameras and recording systems (IP and analog)
    • Access control systems (card readers, keypads, electric strikes, maglocks)
    • Fire alarm systems (pull stations, strobes, panels, detectors)
    • Sprinkler monitoring and alarm integration systems
  • Run, pull, terminate, and label cables according to code and specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed
  • Ensure installations comply with local, state, and federal codes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports for installations and service calls

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the low voltage industry
  • Proficient with computers and mobile devices
  • Organized, motivated, and able to work independently
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of fire sprinkler, fire suppression systems, access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems
  • Familiarity with various system types at customer sites is a plus
  • NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Protection, or Special Hazards is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Employees must frequently use hands to handle, feel, talk, and hear. They must often reach with hands and arms, and may need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Standing for 8 hours, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, and balancing are required. Occasionally, employees may lift/move up to 75 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Work may be performed in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees, and walking over 1 mile daily may be necessary.
