Job summary

Western Entrance Technology LLC in Auburn, WA is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Electrical Technician / Automatic Door Installer for on-site work across the greater Seattle area.

You will install automatic door operators, pushbuttons, and related hardware in both new construction and retrofit projects, routinely coordinating low-voltage wiring with electricians and ensuring systems operate safely and reliably.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State electrical certification required for assigned work.
• Experience installing, servicing or troubleshooting commercial automatic door operators or related low-voltage equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements.
• Must reside within ~80 miles of Seattle or be willing to relocate before starting employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites in a company-provided van.
• Install automatic door operators, pushbuttons, bollards, and related hardware.
• Integrate systems and perform service repairs on hardware.
• Coordinate low-voltage wiring with electricians.
• Lift, position, and install overhead operators with tools.
• Communicate progress with customers and contractors.
• Submit timesheets and expenses per company policy.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and manufacturer education.
